Seniors Food Co-Operative NL

The Seniors Food Co-operative is a member-owned social enterprise based in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. Since coming together in 2024 and officially incorporating in March 2025 under the Newfoundland and Labrador Cooperatives Act, we’ve been building something rooted in care, community, and shared responsibility. 

At our heart, we believe everyone deserves access to affordable, high-quality food, especially seniors in our community. That’s why we focus on providing food in smaller, more manageable portions that better suit everyday needs. By doing this, we help reduce food waste while also making groceries more accessible and cost-effective. 

More than just a co-op, we’re a community. Guided by a dedicated board of directors and supported by our co-op coordinator, we’re working together to create a space where people feel supported, valued, and connected while improving quality of life, one meal at a time.
